In the making of the research book

One of the most important things i wanted to explore were the phobias i realized i have here in the city. I have been exploring each and everyone of them. I admit, i do like them having names.

Water colors

As the May is probably the most cruel month of the year, i suppose i am trying to keep it as easy as i possibly can. I am experimenting with colors for my book. I want wood, tracing paper and water colors to be involved. Tired of being scared to make my ideas woRk!

Beckmans

Beckmans is a college of Design based in Stockholm, Sweden. I have been looking through their website and some of the students work. I have found a great video they made for a furniture fair that took place in 2009.

Major / Final project

We recently started working on our final project called "London through the eyes of a designer". We have to come up with a visual research book and a wrap around poster that acts as a dust jacket cover for this book. The book has to be A5 format / French fold. I am currently doing research on book folds, different patterns, color combination. I soon shall put my first ideas on air.

This is an example of a French fold book. I must say, i enjoy different color side paper.

Building swimming pools

Another great work i found on Ruta Kiskyte's portfolio. I am starting to get very anxious about swimming pools and swimming itself. Wait and see!

Dogtooth

"Dogtooth" is a 2009 Greek drama film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. The film premired at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Prix Un Certain Regard. I can not shake the feeling that videos are my favorite way of presenting beauty.

Paulius Ka

Paulius is a beautiful music player, a listener, a writer, a film maker, a photographer. It is for anyone to decide how professional he is today, while i present one of his latest photographs taken. I believe in blurry, washed out effect. I admire his work.
